Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reverse Osmosis (RO) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of RO systems used for water purification. The RO Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of RO units to meet water quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup:
Install, configure, and set up RO systems according to specifications and blueprints.
Ensure proper placement and connection of pipes, fittings, and electrical components.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on RO systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and perform necessary repairs promptly.
Replace faulty components and ensure the overall functionality of RO units.
Water Quality Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze water quality to ensure compliance with established standards.
Adjust and calibrate equipment as needed to maintain optimal performance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Generate reports on system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Stay informed about industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Customer Support:
Provide technical support to customers and address their inquiries or concerns.
Offer guidance on proper usage and maintenance of RO systems.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Proven experience as an RO Technician or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of reverse osmosis principles and water treatment processes.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
